Commercial Offshore Director – International Banking, Mauritius

CA Global Africa recruitment is currently looking for a highly qualified candidate for the role of Head of Commercial Offshore for one of its Global Banking clients to be based in Mauritius.

Role Synopsis:

- To set the clients International Banking/Commercial Offshore strategy, drive this strategy within Mauritius and internationally and be accountable for the business, people and controls on a day to day basis.

- The key objective of the role is to deliver the IBD/Commercial Offshore objectives (set against a balanced scorecard), but as a fundamental requirement: deliver the business' STP commitments in terms of both income and costs; whilst building the appropriate customer/commercial culture based on consistent behaviours aligned to the clients Guiding Principles.

- Leading the IBD team and being a strong people leader for the business as well as a strong voice on the Country Management Committee and Executive Leadership Team; both on issues directly related Commercial Offshore and as senior leader within the Mauritius business

- To be the key representative for the International Banking Department/Commercial Offshore in Mauritius and abroad , developing and managing relationships with individuals, intermediaries, Key Business Introducers and other critical stakeholders - with the aim of increasing the profile of and developing significant new business for the clients International Banking/Commercial Offshore.
