Project Accountant (CA, unit trust, asset management), Johannesburg, South Africa Introduction Assisting the CEO and CFO to roll-out new products, new funds and business within new countries. Responsibilities • Implementing procedures to ensure compliance within Asset Management • Weekly monitoring of all portfolio positions within the Group – Hands on review/oversight • Refining operational procedures to streamline processes between back office and front office • Implementing weekly and monthly exception reports to ensure sufficient operational control. • On-going monitoring of weekly and monthly exception reports – Hands on review/oversight. • Improve Fund Accounting reports and implement processes for monthly and quarterly financial review. Requirements • Financial degree with 3 years articles, preferably honours degree looking to obtain CA qualification or studying towards a CA qualification • Unit trust, registry experience will be an added advantage • Attention to detail • Dynamic, eager, self-starter • Project and goal orientated • Must have exceptional communication skills, must be able to work with a diversity of cultures and countries • Articles completed • Experience within financial sector • Must have passion for financial sector.
