Senior Corporate Financier (Africa Focused, grow and develop advisory function), Johannesburg, South Africa Introduction The client is recruiting for a Senior Corporate Financier to drive the growth and development of the advisory business across Africa. The client has an established base in Africa, which provides them with a platform to take advantage of the growth in mergers and acquisitions, and capital market transactions. Responsibilities • The main purpose of the job will be to build and grow a highly profitable Corporate Finance and Advisory business • Participate in strategic planning as a member of the executive management team • Coordinate and oversee the development of marketing materials for transactions • Responsible for the planning and execution of the team’s deliverables Requirements • A minimum of 8 – 12 years of relevant working experience • At least 5 years of this experience should have been spent in an international role / within a similar organisation • Strong business development skills • Proven ability in deal origination and business development • Preference will be given to candidates that have a strong entrepreneurial background – working in smaller organisations (compared to large banking environment) • Strong leadership and management experience • Good command of the English language • Candidate must be prepared to travel (up to 7 working days per month) Send your CV to Danelle at CA Global (danelle@caglobalint.com), or visit our website (www.banking-recruitment-jobs.com) for further information.
