Managing Director (MD) – Stockbroking, International Investment Group, Mauritius

CA Global Africa recruitment is currently looking for a highly qualified candidate for the role of Managing Director for one of its international clients. The role is based in Mauritius

Overview:

This is an extremely exciting role for an ambitious investment banker with a track record of excellence and achievement to join a rapidly expanding Investment Bank Group as Managing Director. This is a crucial role for the group in which you will be responsible for building and growing the stockbroking business in Mauritius and also implementing financial best practices in order to participate in development of the Mauritian capital market. In addition to play a strategic role as part of the executive team, you will also be the type of financial leader who can motivate a team. This important role includes a broad knowledge of local and international clients.

The Candidate must have;
- Master qualification in finance or equivalent
- 4-5 years stockbroking experience in the Mauritian stock market or internationally,
- Registered broker/dealer to trade in SEM,
- Experience in settlement for local and international clients
- Similar previous position/experience
- Knowledge in IT
