Collateral / Securities Administrator (derivatives, securities lending, process improvement, recons), Johannesburg, South Africa Introduction The client provides financing, risk management and advisory products and services to users and providers of capital in South Africa. Its goal is to become the leading investment bank in South Africa. The main purpose of this role is to assist in the collateral management of OTC, Repo, Futures, Securities Lending and Prime Broking for the company. The candidate will also assist in improving Collateral management processes and related control environment. Responsibilities • Liaise with Credit and Legal departments on new Collateral Management agreements • Assist with the making and receiving of collateral payments from call to settlement • Assist in improving the control environment relating to Collateral • Improve management information available • Reconciliation of collateral assets from Source to ledger • Reconciliation of trade portfolios between Clients and the company • Continually analyzing the data integrity within department Requirements • Degree in business related science • An understanding of collateral operations, theoretical and practical would be beneficial • Legal knowledge of Collateral Management agreements and related documentation would be beneficial • Advanced IT Skills essential Please apply directly, by clicking on the CV submit button below.
