Project Manager (banking, transactional products, client implementations), Johannesburg, South Africa Introduction To assess, direct, supervise and control Regional Client Implementations across both electronic and physical channels by engaging all relevant stakeholders from both within and external to the bank. Responsibilities • The project manager must define the project, reduce it to a set of manageable tasks, obtain appropriate resources and build a team to perform the work. • The project manager must set the final goal for the project and motivate his/her team to complete the project on time. • The project manager must assess and monitor risks to the project and mitigate them. • Understand the dynamics of Channel Management and customer requirements • Ensure continuous and appropriate level of engagement with stakeholders involved in the delivery of the client’s channel requirements, to deliver measured improvement in channel delivery from service, productivity and risk management perspectives. • Project related activities like financial control (budgets, revenue, invoices, etc) • Business development – identifies business development and ‘add-on’ sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project • Effective communication with all stake holders • General Technical understanding in the areas of application programming, database and systems design • Ensure all project, product and channel governance on audit, control and financial reporting standards as they relate to the TPS channel are adhered to Requirements • Project Management and banking qualification will be an advantage • Experience managing through influence in a large organization • 2 - 5 years of Project Management Experience • Transaction banking experience • Have previously worked in either direct cash/trade sales/channel role • Relevant client and/or geographical experience in the Africa region. • Ideally gained experience working across multiple geographic locations • Comprehensive knowledge of banking operations/SWIFT • Comprehensive knowledge of electronic channels • Thorough operations and systems exposure Send your CV to Danelle at CA Global (danelle@caglobalint.com), or visit our website (www.banking-recruitment-jobs.com) for further information.
