Reference: DLR Salary: NEG Start: ASAP Group Senior Financial Manager (CA / ACCA / Asset Management / Unit Trusts / Investment back office) – Ebene Cyber City Mauritius This role reports into the Group CFO. The successful candidate will be a qualified CA / ACCA and experience within the Asset / Investment Management environment. Responsibilities: • Manage and control the financial reporting function within the group & asset management silos • Assist the Group CFO with strategic tasks and ad hoc projects • Preparation and submission of statutory and management accounts, budgets and forecasts, daily financial reports and ALCO reports within the agreed time frames • Ensure that the finance team s in the group and asset management silos are properly trained and possess the correct skills • Financial reporting in accordance with IFRS & industry best practice • Making sure the appropriate internal controls are in place to manage all risk • Financial reporting • Management of relevant tax issues • Budgets and forecasting Requirements: Qualification and Skill • Qualified CA / ACCA • No less than 7 years post qualification experience • Experience within an Asset / Investment Management environment & Fund Accounting are is essential • South African / Mauritian citizen preferred • Skills in – IFRS / Consolidation modeling / Budgeting modeling • Management skills • Expert Excel skills • SQL ability • Self-starter and Team player If you wish to apply for the position please send your CV to Danelle le Roux: danelle@caglobalint.com.
