Group Compliance Manager (compliance management / risk management / law graduate / financial sector experience) - Johannesburg South Africa Introduction The company is one of the most well-known investment banking groups operating across Africa. They require a mature candidate with a strong personality to take full responsibility for the compliance management across the Group. Responsibilities • Maintain responsibility for compliance across the Group • Development and implementation of appropriate policies, procedures and controls • Providing legal & regulatory advice • Identify, manage, resolve &escalate regulatory and reputational risk issues • Conduct compliance training Requirements • A relevant graduate qualification (BA LLB, BProc or similar – Bcom LLB is preferred) • JSE Compliance Officer’s Examination will be advantageous • Experience working within compliance / legal within the financial sector is essential • At least 8 years of work experience, 5 of this in a senior compliance / legal role • Experience of the African continent would receive strong preference • South African citizen preferred Please apply directly, by clicking on the CV submit button below.
