Head of Finance & Operations (Qualified CA / Fund Administration & Fund Accounting / Operations / Investment Management) - Gaborone Botswana Introduction The client is an investment management firm with operations in various African countries. The group offers a unique opportunity to participate in the building of a leading participant in a rapidly growing market place. Responsibilities Maintaining the overall responsibility for the smooth running of the back office – this will include operations (registry & pricing), finance & fund accounting Staff management (fund administrators & fund accountants) Reviewing client reporting requirements & implement improved processes All office support & administration services as required Managing & overseeing fund valuations Implementing the back office strategy Requirements Qualified CA Botswana citizen Minimum of 12 years working experience in an investment management / asset management / 3rd party administration firm, with 8 years of post-articles experience (this experience must have been gained in a similar role Strong financial & operational background Experience in fund administration & fund accounting, as well as company finance & accounting Please apply directly, by clicking on the CV submit button below.
